Wow, that sounds scary. Was the 6k for the electrical work?

Spoke to the broker from Swinton today (from UKAUTO, Garage Management thread). Very fair advice, which I have took, which is too stick with my current insurer (AXA) unless I have a particular concern as 'better the devil you know' can be the case sometimes. AXA had irritated me with a 10% charge for direct debit, when it was free last year which is what really prompted my interest in a change. Slight increase in charge also - but they have reduced it slighty after discussion.

Good of the broker not to take advantage of earning a broker fee
