Just a word of warning guys, today we had a customers car stolen DURING an MOT test. The tester carried out the emission test, walked 8ft away from the car, to collect paperwork, and two young men appeared from nowhere, jumped in car and sped off with bonnet up.

Whole thing was captured on cctv, but police aren't hopeful of an arrest. We are now reviewing our routines, but it looks like we will have to adopt a closed door policy, where workshop doors are kept shut at all times.

Three men in a Volvo had been spotted by the shop keeper opposite prior to the theft, obviously watching our movements.
