We bought our equipment, rather than lease/rent it, and I think that's where the problem now is, they were happy at the time to sell it to us with a low turnover of supplies, but apparently there management has now decided you need to spend a minimum of £1000 per year to get a new licence and the new software as they are not using the existing software anymore, so you may be in the same boat when your licence expires.
