Hi all,
I hope he is standing the cost but dont know, I am going to suggest he joins this site and also going to suggest a few training courses. I dont mind helping out a mate but I was brought in at the end when the money was already shelled out. We all make mistakes but i think this was a " it must be that so lets replace it" rather than test the system and find the fault.
He is an excellent mechanic, engine management i think is a weak spot. Thanks for the responses. Thought it was worth mentioning the old basics idea and how important training is.
