hi all,Had customer in this week saying that his honda civic diesel was ready for its first service ,he asked dealer what was involved on first service ,oil&filter price £120+vat.he was told if he went to an independent warranty would be void. rung honda uk who said he could take to an independent as long as there filters were used and there service schedule was followed. so he`s booked it in with us next week. i know when i order the filter for it the parts person will say you should`nt be servicing a car this new,as i have had before from dealers. surely if a customer ask`s the dealer if he can get his local garage to service his car he should be told the truth. not told a pack of lies. mike.
