Once again the link below highlights the need for Trading Standards to get a scheme in place, its just so frustrating to keep reading these reports, how many more years have we got of just talking up a "Good Garage Scheme" Overlooked faults and items comes back to garages not using service schedules, or using them, but not checking each item off (and not giving a customer a completed copy) Service schedules should be made a legal requirement when having your vehicle serviced, this will protect the tech and the customer when problems arise......trouble is, too many garages are in a hurry to rush jobs through the workshop, paperwork always seems to be to much trouble, that has to change Peter
