What ever happened to.... CS1's, DRB101's, LS1's, CON185's, CS141's, CD150's and N9Y's ? Just a thought..... Andy A

It makes a change sometimes to have an MGB or similar in where you have to set the timing, dwell & balance the carbs. Interesting how quickly things do change though, (or I am getting older ) when trying to explain a running fault on a car, I said" it's similar to if you push the choke in too quickly"). The man I was talking to said, "what's a choke?" He had never even seen one Still I'm not too bad, Dad mentions advance/retard lever on the steering wheel & the Lucas delivery which would pick up the starter motor one week & drop it back the next reconditioned, & the customer would start it on the handle in between.
