It makes a change sometimes to have an MGB or similar in where you have to set the timing, dwell & balance the carbs.

Interesting how quickly things do change though, (or I am getting older ) when trying to explain a running fault on a car, I said" it's similar to if you push the choke in too quickly"). The man I was talking to said, "what's a choke?" He had never even seen one

Still I'm not too bad, Dad mentions advance/retard lever on the steering wheel & the Lucas delivery which would pick up the starter motor one week & drop it back the next reconditioned, & the customer would start it on the handle in between.

Remember selling sets of CS5s only for the customer to come back for CS1s because the little post wasn't there any more.
