Water4gas - Fuel Saving

Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you have had any dealings with the water4gas company/product? It is marketed as a fuel saving device. See link to their website below

Apparently a number of independents in the UK are fitting the product and are busy doing so, because of the focus now on fuel prices etc.

Do you any of you have any experience at dealing with the company? We have been approached to become a fitter for the product. I have my own opinions, but interested to see what others think...

Looking at the kit,this appears to be one of the many available under different guises that have been around since the invention of the motor vehicle, Basically you fill a canister with water and feed it into the inlet manifold,thus adding once it vaporises oxygen and hydrogen (H2O) or so the theory goes.More bang for your bucks???
Mind you some impressive glaims,but then Ive seen them all before.

I was looking at this on 'tinternet recently too.

Partial electrolysis using power from your car's battery (? so that's free energy is it?) produces "Brown's Gas" (or HHO) which gives you more combustible material to assist the fuel burn.

The only downside I can see to this is that splitting water to produce free hydrogen and oxygen takes more energy than you can recover. I am lead to believe this because if it were not true then we would have enjoyed the benefit of "perpetual motion" machines for many years now!

That sounds like a load of hocum to me! If I actually see the proof I will gladly eat a hat - although I reserve the right to choose its composition and flavour.

If it is so good why have car manufacturers missed this opportunity?.Surely its a bit like all the baldness remedies available in the world.
