Mototek technical bulletins

Just wondering if any of you guys have used this company for TSBs if so are they any good?

Hi John,i have every bulletin from no 1 upto 229,
which is this month's. As a member of the R.M.I.F. you get them as part of your subscription.It was run by a guy called
Peter Coombes.The bulletins were vehicle/model specific and now are known faults/fixes.Very handy and informative.Mototek now own sykes.You
can also pay subscription to their technical help line.They go into things in depth even if it means back engineering wiring diagrams, getting info from v.m.'s.Well worth it.

Phil you haven't by any chance, created an index.
Example,

FORD: Ford Focus idle control fault: pg 124
Ford Fiesta ABS light fault : pg 19

RENAULT: Laguna none start : pg 98
Megane coil misfire : pg 74

Its something I'm going to start, but if its already been done that would be useful...

Hi John
They are not TSBs as issued by the VM but rather monthly updates which used to cover one system a month, but now concentrate on various issues with vehicles, -sometimes very basic, this months being a good example, three pages devoted to how the'hotline' researched and found the abs problem on a Citroen C5-basically the guy was using wrong (or no) information and was trying to test active abs sensors with an ohmmeter.
There are stll some interesting points at times but not at the indepth level it used to be.Bosch car service should get it free as 'Bosch autotech'.
