Best supplier of Castrol Oils....

Hi,

I'm after some Castrol EDGE Turbo Diesel 0W-30 oil. I've found a few places online but was wondering if there are any motor factors out there that stock this oil who can supply at trade prices? I guess they would need to be national outfits....

I've tried Andrew Page but they no longer stock Castrol oil.

I currently only need it for my own vehicle so am looking to buy a 20/25ltr barrel, or failing that some 4Ltr cans.

Don't buy 4 liter cans I bought two 0/w30 Edge from my local factors for my own vehicle and cost me £110 delivered. This was exactly the same price Halfords was selling at. I would be very interested if anyone does know of a different supplier.

Hello Sean,
I had a tour around the new ECP in Stockport last week and I did notice some Castrol oils in stock, worth a phone call. I also seem to recall that Castrol had a place in Hyde, dont know if its still there.

ECP do stock the oil but only in the 4Ltr containers (£36+VAT).

I've sent an email off to Castrol to see if they do it in 20/25 Ltr containers, but not holding out any real hope. But will let you know what I find.

P.S. That's two new ECP branches near us now (Stockport & Stoke)....shame we don't buy that much from them....

We have always used Castrol oils, buying direct from Castrol until they decided that smaller customers would be supplied from a local distributor, who to cover the south of England is Linton fuel oils (our supplier now is Hookins, who is owned by Linton).

Hi Steve,

I contacted Castrol and they asked one of their distributors to contact me. They seem to have some good pricing, so have asked for them to quote on a vareity of grades now....

The EDGE 0W30 oil that I was after is not available in 20/25Ltrs but 60 Ltr drums. Hopefully, will be getting one of those soon.

The distributor that contacted me is Race Lubricants and they are based in the Birmingham area and their retail website is below.
