Stitch Up - Warning to others #

Had an unfortunate experience last week, this
may prevent somebody else getting done this way.Customer phones up asking about price of tyres, quoted price, called back and said he wanted 4, left a mobile number to be called when ready to be fitted, another person similar wanted 4 quad bike tyres, same sort of arrangement.
Third call wanted huge tyres and would not give us a name or number so we said we could not fit them, too big for our changer, this one sounde dodgy but other seemed genuine. when tyres arrived, we called and call went to answerphone left message saying tyres were in know.
you can guess may be what happened next. Workshop door forced one night and 8 tyres ordered only things stolen, probably another 40 tyres in store plus everthing else was acessable but nothing else touched. Phone numbers given to police,no response know.
Lesson learned only order things after a deposit if not know person.

Hi Allan, I had a call last week for price of 4 tyres customer wanted me to order them for next day. When I said I needed deposit he put the phone down on me. Strange me thinks

brings to mind local fast fit had a polo in for a noise when driving they fitted 2 front wheel bearings a new gearbox and the noise was still there they then got there area technician guy to road test it and he told the so called mechanics to take the bloody roof rack off try explaining your way out of that one !
