Hi All |
Anyone know who makes these parts
We have had a few parts supplied to us by A Pages made by a company named Fohrenbuhl.
When you google Fohrenbuhl it just comes up with a town in Germany,
Pages say the parts are made just for them to supply ??? My guess is they are made by another big German company.

We have had a clutch kit, starter, alternator so far seem ok .There is nothing on the box to say where it was manufactured it seems to be Top Seceret

We had a smartcharge alternator which was faulty out of the box |
I thought parts or packaging had to have country of origin on them ?

Hi John |
We have been told they are new not re con units & they are guaranteed so if they fail we get paid the labour.
We have fitted starter motors supplied by our local ford dealer, Which are not new but recon units & when they fail we don not get paid the labour

If I had to guess a country of origin it would be China. |

Hi All |
Recived an E mail yesterday from someone who used to work for A Page
Re the Fohrenbuhl debate here
I am not registered so cannot post you may wish to post this but please leave my name off .
Having previously worked for A Page i will settle this debate.
Fohrenbuhl is their own brand name.
All Parts are from UK Source.
Clutch kits are new units bought from a large clutch manufacturer in the UK who supply many 'range builders'
Alternators & Starter motors are all new units, most of which are OE units such as Bosch,Valeo, Mitsubishi & Denso in the box.
The percentage of warranty returns of Fohrenbuhl alternators and starter motors was around 1% compared with nearer 6% Bosch warranty returns in 12 months.
The warranties that were received were mostly non genuine (other vehicle fault such as Ford wiring loom break)
I hope this clarifies things.
It is certainly not Chinese product nor is it 'Foreign Bull'
