Fair enough to bring it to modern standards but why not allow IMI CPD to count and just take a annual online test, its hard keeping up with modern vehicle technology let alone keeping up with IMI CPD and now MOT CPD and more training video's to watch.

I hope if it is video format the instructor is engaging, some of the older vosa video's were not great but Brian Gray was engaging.

Its a way off cost cutting,no more trainers or centers, just looking at details with my testers.
As with most things these days its just a tick in the box to cover there asses.
My guys are a bit miffed that the onus comes back to them and loose out on a bit of banter at the refreshers

I think a 50% pass rate for an open book exam which is multi-choice is absolutely ridiculous, any person off the street with a reasonable education should be able to pass that test - so what are DVSA saying about an NT's ability?

And why is an on-line test costing anything - it's all automated and if they did charge it certainly should not cost any more than an actual Mot test fee (which they keep telling us can be down to £9.99).
