I had to contact them today and wasn't to pleased, my old login doesnt work on the new site and the services they have us offering is wrong, shocked to be honest that they didnt pre-warn us well in advance, fully allow us to test the site before they switched, when we first joined motorcodes it was so we could tell out customers we could promote the trading standards side of it (which I still think is the ONLY name consumers ever knew or remembered) but now so many others now offer this, RMI, RAC, Bosch they have lost there advantage and it seems that all the PR work we as garages have done to 'promote' motorcodes has been wasted, thankfully we didnt consider adding this to our vinyl work we are in process of doing for our van and didnt promote it via our leaflets or paperwork, who's going to absorb the costs that no doubt many others garages have at a cost to them built up and promoted the brand?

Hi Steve
Fully agree with that, changing the brand name without consulting its customers is crazy
I jumped ship from Motor Codes last year as it just did not seem right or did not do anything to attract new customers, certainly don't want "The Motor Ombudsman" logo on my workshop or paperwork
Now with the "Trust my Garage" think it's more customer friendly (you know what I mean )
Totally agree, "The Motor Ombudsman" sounds like your on the back foot to start with. We haven't renewed our Motor Codes this year as "Trust my Garage" seems far more proactive for the Independent. Andy
