Hi Could it be that when the ecu stratagy sees a fault it drops to open loop?, but continues to re-access the lambda switching to see if it does rectify itself?, I read somewhere about crosscounts, the number of times the ecu sees lambda cross the centre line, perhaps these are out of parameter when the revs are raised? All a bit of a guess. Regards
