I've got a Zafira 1.8.
Reported fault - spanner light comming on intermittantly coupled with stalling at junctions etc.
Usual code read
4 codes
P1525 - Electronic throttle limp home position malfunction.
P1526 - Electronic throttle addaption malfunction.
P1550 - electronic throttle in emergency mode.
P1555 - Throttle position TP sensor a/mass air flow (MAF) sensor implausable signal.
did the usual cleared codes.
Removed throttle assembly, cleaned (noting match above fault codes to know fixes in auto data.
Drive 20 miles all fine but driving down the A2 around 50mph (speed limit of A2) spanner light on but engine/idle fine. Re-code read. Only P1555 back noting no OBD Codes, No freeze frame.
Question - I concluded the throttle position sensor is in the electronic throttle unit, can anyone confirm this for me? Anyone had this before? Aren't intermittant faults great - I think not!!!
