I'm afraid this is one of them old dinosaurs with a flasher unit!It plugs into the relay box behind dash above pedals,although it is usually hidden behind a metal support bar.It is a conventional 3-pin type but if I recall it has reverse pin layout .Part is around £20 from Volvo.
