on the emissions is the reading you give CO or CO2 ?
Is there a specific cylinder misfire, or just general rough running ?
The O2 sensor can be tested out of the vehicle with a blow torch if you wish to confirm.
As others have implied, at the end of the day ( due to the cause & effect issue)the only 100 % method of eliminating a MAF is by substitution.
Most of us have ways of checking mafs, but even Frank Massy admitted be caught out by one in one of his articles!
