PS the flashing MIL indicates that the system has detected a missfire that could damage the "cat"

if so then your COPs have the end stage built in, which means that you should not use an Ohms meter on them.
termial 1) signal wire. ECU pins C5,C6,C8,C9
termial 2) earth wire.
termial 3) Ign feed via fuel pump relay.
