Evening all,

Asked to have a look at this vehicle which is suffering from a severe misfire with what sounds like back firing into the exhaust. Faults cannot be replicated by revving the car in neutral in the garage workshop. Fault Codes stored are 1539 and 0532 which relate to AC and cannot be cleared. Also PO 0445 Evap Purge valve which cleared down. Having studied archives tonight, I note that these appear to suffer from earthing problems between loom and coil connections. All other readings incuding emissions are normal. Tomorrow, if I get sufficient time for a revisit, intend to investigate along the lines of earthing/chafing problems......unless you know better!
