I,m FAR from prefect, but i do have a diagnostic procedure which is do as many test,s as possible,then research the problem, first with all the info i have to hand (auto-data, opus data, Caps, vivid, Tech bulletins from Tech-topics and mototek, various TIS,s etc ) if i,m still stuck search UKAT and other trade and non trade site,s.
Then i phone some good mate,s i have here and other site,s not that if often gets that far as they have most likely answered the question somewhere. THANKS GUYS (you know who )
Then if i,m stuck (it has happened once) i post for HELP .
At some stage in there i even use manufacturer pay to view sites
It,s amazeing what you learn if you try.
