Hi all thanks for all the help, Had the ecu back all ok. Finally traced to a fault in the relay box near the ecu which contains 3 relays in one box, one of the coils was getting hot and just letting go leaving a bad contact high resistance on coil side changed for a known good one and ok now. But yes we have had problems with inter stuff as well, did not know about the tie up with Lucas, but it seams as a lot of stuff comes from one factory in china or outer mongal somewhere just in different boxs.
