Doesn't the RPM sensor built into distributor activate the start of injection, normally you can remove dizzy, spin by hand and listen for the clicking of injectors. If you hear the clicking then RPM sensor is working. (i'm sure this is correct.

According to my data fuse number 9 in under bonnet fuse box is for igniton coil but have no wiring diagram.

Also may be worth a look, has it got a fuel cut off switch which on some cars stop igntion circuit as well.
