Evening Mark, "is the vac dropping because of a mechanical fault or because something else is causing the engine to run poorly which will also cause the vac to drop.." Good question. Or is it a faulty MAP sensor causing the vac to drop? Difficult to tell and you can disappear up your own back-side trying to fathom that out. If I feel I have a MAP problem causing fuelling problems, I apply about 19" hg with my vacuum pump to the sensor and then see what happens. It is nice to emerge back into daylight! Regards Pete M
