Hi all
Have the above vehicle in at the mo, came from another garage. Vehicle is a non runner, found that the timing has jumped the chain is really slack. What i was wanting to know will it be o.k just to re-time the chain and take up the slack with the automatic adjuster, or should i advise them to put a new timing chain kit on as they are prone? Does the new kit come with a new adjuster and what wears on these engines to cause the chain to go slack?
