Have a look in the bm34 [under bonnet fuse box] and with the ignition on see if you have a voltage at pin 13 of the black 16 way connector
If you have then earth this pin with a power probe and you should then get comms and it should start
If it does then trace the wire [usually white with red tracer] back to the engine ecu
