Right i have just checked the tappet clearance and they are all in spec just!
The compession test on the vehicle all came up ok all around 150.
I will do a cylinder leakage and head gasket test a bit later but my gut is telling me it's more of an electrical fault than mechanical but i'm always ready to be prooven wrong!!
I have scoped the injectors as well and they look good with about a 4-5 ms duration on idle and up to 10 on w.o.t.
I have re-scoped the coil and it seams like it might be breaking down very slightly but not 100% sure off that. will double check a bit later.
I did fit bosch plugs to start off with but they have been swopped out of NGK's now but it did not change the way it ran.
The customers is ok at the moment with what we have done but we are in deep now and relay need to get it fixed. Don't you hate it when it turns out to be a pig of a job
