Hi Gary,

You may find this is transmitted on CAN, therefore there will not be a usefull waveform you can use to establish if VSS is being broadcast on the network. Unless you have a CAN analyser and the abillity to make sense of the individual messages and their meanings.

I could be wrong though if so there will have to be a hard wired signal from ABS to both cluster and EMS which will be a frequency modulated 12 or 5V square wave.
