My first job after dinner was an airbag light on a zt 190 02,traced fault to airbag ecu faulty.

Whilst i had t4 connected to the car i had a look in engine ecu for fault codes.there was no fault codes in engine ecu before i started,and there was one-


p1647 can instrument pack fault-signal not in valid range`!

Possible causes in description list-

gearbox ecu(tho this car is a manual)

or ems 2000 ecm!

but im thinking that because i had disconnected the airbag ecu with the ignition on that this code has come up.

Maybe this will help you or just confuse things,check that everything works on the car and all the lights come on the instument pack.
