To Be honest Damian, We got The first one in from another garage and they had diagnosed the EWS as Faulty, ( with their Launch and Solus ) They bought the unit and asked us to fit it, We agreed to attempt the job as we had never been able to do anything with BMW immobilisers before.

The 2nd one that came in had exactly the same fault code, so we just jumped in with both feet and replaced the EWS .

We had to get a little Technical help from our Jersey Branch on how to carry out the procedure, but other than that the job worked fine. ( Thanks Andrew )
