Looking for any ideas

2ltr Duratec 2004 Mondeo which after several miles of driving will starts to cut out- foot on floor no responce. The thing is if you just switch the ignition off and on again, problem clears and runs fine for a while and problem returns. If you let off accelerator when its starts to struggle it returns to norm. At this stage we've changed injectors and looked at any possible blokages with little success. Any ideas on where to go from here?
