Hi Mark, I must admit I do not have a smoke tester, but I was thinking that as it also runs fast on the over run it would be the same fault causing both problems, sometimes when you over run it stays at 1400 rpm which I think is still a bit high, nearer 1100 to 1200 is the morm, but when it is at its worst it hits 2000 rpm, thanks, Jim.
