we used to have a few customers with these bravas, and with the first faulty one we saw the idle very high and suspected the combined throttle motor/position sensor was faulty. ( we assumed this because the stepper motor was similar to the single point bosch unit )It was replaced but no joy, spoke to fiat and found out settings/adaptions had to be reset. We only had a sykes ACR which at that time didnt talk to this system so off it went to the dealer who reset it and all was well. around this time we were looking at autodiagnos for a new tester and was assured that the multitester would perform the necessary reset. (this actually helped swing the purchase), in the end up we saw quite a few bravas with this problem and most only ever required a reset to bring idle back into line. Disconnecting the battery or ECU doesnt reset. Autodiagnos does the reset and texa, as does the dealer tool but i dont know if anything else does? bosch maybe as its a bosch sytem??
hope this helps
