Have seen a few of the P0170 on the Z18XE engine. I normally check the o2 sensor when on roadtest, when putting the car under load, it normally reads lean with a very low Mv. Fit new airmass meter then try again, under load it then switch's to rich. But wouldnt say Ive had one with a complete loss of power. HTH, Leo
