Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 Z18XE 2002 - Intermittent loss of power #

Year of Manufacture *: 2002
Engine Size and Code *: 1.8 Z18XE
( Optional ) ECU Type: siemens symtec
( Optional ) Scanner Used: solus pro

Intermittent complete loss of power no response but doesn,t stall. We have scoped lambda, airflow, coil, throttle body, crank sensor etc. all seemed to be ok. We have smoked it and replaced a leaking intake pipe only a small leak.
The codes we got are
P0700 eobd error stored by a/t
P0170 mixture lean
P0130 O2 sensor 1 circuit voltage low
We have cleared the codes cleaned the throttle body but didn't make any difference.
We got vauxhall to fit a new ecu because we knew they could cause problems on these was ok for a couple of days but then happened again. we are now lost any help would be very halpfull thankyou

What's the lambda doing during the loss of power, if lean is fuel pressure OK when it's loosing power?

What are the fuel trims telling you?

Have seen a few of the P0170 on the Z18XE engine. I normally check the o2 sensor when on roadtest, when putting the car under load, it normally reads lean with a very low Mv. Fit new airmass meter then try again, under load it then switch's to rich. But wouldnt say Ive had one with a complete loss of power. HTH, Leo

We are the Vauxhall Specialist on Sunningdale Tr Est. Next door to Andrew Page! How much is this autodiagnos then? Darren Dunkley has let me borrow a modis that he can do a good deal on!

look on sponsoring forum page andy amor has posted offer on there, the modis is a good tool and snap on software does seem to be getting alot better, I have a verus which i keep up to date but only seem to use it for the scope
Didnt even know there was a specialist there may pop in one day next week as i have to go to direct cars to look at a picasso ECU
