Thanks for the reply kieth , sorry forgot to answer your question last time the throttle connections are six contacts in one row front to rear in line with the car. i agree could well be a wiring problem but my autodata has no pin info. to check,are you aware if the body control module could have an effect on this im just thinking of the 507 code which i would think refers to that module, just trying to eliminate possibilities, I have another clio on site which is good which i can substitute bits, will try swopping module not sure if it would require coding time will tell
