Hi Paul,

I bumped into the guy who recommended this customer to me about 2 weeks ago and this vehicle has been fixed. Apparently, they found an earth wire somewhere under the bonnet that had come adrift. He cannot remember exactly where though. Sorry the info is a bit sparce but at least its a lead... of sorts.
