Year of Manufacture *: 2004

( Optional) Fault Codes: P1033, P2096, P1070
Had the above vehicle in on friday for MOT and engine management light on. I did the MOT test first and it failed on the emissions. CO 0.99%
HC 86ppm and lambda 0.97. I then fault coded the engine management got fault codes P1033 NOx sensor signal too small, P2096 oxygen sensor correction after cat.(bank 1) control limit exceeded(lean), P1070 NOx sensor heater (control signal) short to B+. The same fault codes came up about 2 months ago i cleared them then and they havent come back on till now. Ive cleared the fault codes again and its passed the emissions test now. Do these vehicles suffer from problems with these NOx sensor. Ive followed the Bosch Esi and the sensor seems to working o.k, apart from every now and again on a road test the signal from the rear oxygen sensor keeps going to 0 volts. The front sensor is reading at half throttle 1.5v at full throttle 1.0v and no throttle its between 3.0v and 4.0v these readings are from the road test. I have checked for exhaust leaks and everything is fine. Any advise would be most appreciated, sorry for the long post.
Regards Jamie
