I have experienced poor ECU earths on this vehicle. I checked serial data MAF output volts via scan tool and compared to actual MAF volts by meter with direct earth to batt, difference 0.3V. With MAF unplugged ECU defaults to throttle position and calculates MAF. However if reference earth is causing a low reading, throttle will be slightly under reported as well, so improvement with disconnected MAF may only be slight. I recall three ECU earths, which I cut and re- made direct to Battery. In both cases this cured the problem. (I have been told that the reverse also occurs ie ECU will calculate throttle position from MAF if throttle position disconnected.) Hope you have success, Tom
