Hi all have a renault clio in the workshop.Car starts, but wont rev up properly, backfiring, then after few seconds goes into limp mode. Light similar to a glowplug light comes up on the dash but not MIL and won't respond to the throttle any more and revs up and down (hunting) when idling.Got code 634 (inlet air circuit). Funny thing is when I switch off the engine but leave the Ign switched on I get a constant clicking from the canister purge valve. When I clear the code the clicking stops.

I cleaned the throttle body, put a set of new spark plugs into it, as they were all black and checked all vacum pipes ect. but its still the same.

Any help on this would be great.
