Try looking at the main ignition relay. I had trouble very much like that and it blow the ecu due to bad connection(arcing). Ecu is plug and play on this one so you could try a second hand one. If only i had this info before looking at mine!! Try holding foot hard down on gas while starting and see if it revs that way. best of luck. Sam
