Help Required Please

This vehicle cam in from the VW dealers with a mis-fire on 2 cylinders.
It had just had 2 coils fitted and the dealers said they would have to take the head off to go any further.lol
Carried out a compression test 180 - 125 - 125 - 200 psi. Cylinders 2+3 come upto 200psi with a bit of oil squirted in the bores.
No spark and no signal at injectors.

We have checked scope pattens for crank and cam sensors and both seem ok at sensor and at the ecu.
Cam-belt timing is ok.
Posatives and negs to ecu are all there.

Now I'm thinking that we may have an ecu problem as the first 2 coils went down one after the other and not together, now there is none of them working.

Hope some one can shed a bit of light on this problem before we send the ecu away for testing.
