hi kev, the alternator was changed before it came to us for a reconditioned one. we did question this we rang renault to see if it was correct one they said from the part number it was one of five part numbers that could be fitted to this vehicle, which wasnt very helpful. so we got a known working geniune off an identical vehicle which had same part number
