Year of Manufacture *: 2004 Engine Size and Code *: 1600 K4M782 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: MACH VCI ( Optional) Fault Codes: P0010 Hi, Got this car in with emission light on read fault code p0010 variable camshaft timing, camshaft position actuator(bank 1). Not sure how this system works I have check both wires on plug and i am getting 12v on both. I have scoped the feeds and I'm getting solid 14v on both wires . Is this correct or should i get variable earth voltage? Is the valve only electrically operated or is it done with oil pressure also? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance Shane |
