I did come across a few articles regarding the watchdog situation and the regulator that's has a few revisions.
I did explain to my customer about the recall etc but instead he bit the bullet and bought a genuine one.
Not 100% confirmed as a fix yet as I only got it 15 mins before closing time but I managed to get a quick capture of the new regulator and the live data was looking positive. Just needs final running time and test drive for me to be totally happy !!
