Looking for some advise on this one. Car came in with the engine light on. Scanned for codes. P2003 malfunction of secondary air injection (p0410). Cleared code but it returns again after start up. Checks done so far are I've checked power and ground supply to both air pump and secondary air solenoid control valve on cold start up. They are both actuated at the same time for about 50 secs when starting from cold. When actuated you can hear the air pump, it doesn't sound noisy. The solenoid when actuated puts manifold vacuum to the secondary air valves on both banks on the intakes which i think confirms it's working OK. I have also applied vacuum to these manually without the engine running to check they are opening, and blown through the pipe from the air pump to ensure they are seating OK and opening OK. Ive also checked the intake system for leaks with smoke pro, there is a tiny amount of smoke comes out of a shaft on the egr valve, not sure if this is normal? Could it be that the pump is drawing to much current or maybe not pumping enough air? I'll try attaching a picture of the pico capture but not done it before so I'll see how it goes. The pump draws 135 amps of current on start up then goes down to 35 amps.
