I'm with Dave, I think those a/c codes are red herrings. If they where the problem the light would be on permanently.

I assume the light has not been on for you?

I have experienced issues with Fords not storing intermittent faults in memory as yo would expect.

This is an old car with no running issues so no point in running up a bill for endless testing.

If this was my customer I would request he drops in without an appointment when the light is on, ask him leaving it running.

You can confirm warning light and code read it, I think you will see another fault.
