Year of Manufacture *: 2008 Engine Size and Code *: 1798cc ( Optional) Fault Codes: P2015 Just a bit of advise on this one as it may need a software update Code P2015 Intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1) implausible signal BZB TSI 99,000 miles Came in back in January for oil change and had the same code, cleared and just come back on last week Doing a bit of research but seems to be a bit of confusion (on my part probably), it's suggested replacing the manifold as the sensor is part it, also VW may be replacing the manifolds under warranty for around 2008 models? Also this vehicle has had a Revo software tweek and a K&N air filter fitted which looks pretty black I have told the customer that if a new manifold is fitted it may require the latest software version, but he is reluctant to get his Revo overwritten The customer is looking for the cheapest option (which there probably isn't one) Is a manifold change usually the repair for this? or are there to many unknowns with tweeked software installed ![]() Peter |
