i have spend a couple of hours today i disconnected the exhaust just in case it was blocked but no difference starting it from cold today it was running really bad and smoking once i managed to steady the revs at 2200 rpm for a while and looked under the car the cat was red hot so i left it and told my customer that it looks like the timing is out but he was't prepared to spend any more money on it so the car goes unresolved. thanks for your comments
