Year of Manufacture *: 2000 Engine Size and Code *: 3.0 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: autel/ wow ( Optional) Fault Codes: bank 1 lean and bank 2 lean we have a jaguar s-type 3.0 that we have just fixed a large air leak that had long term fuel trim at +45% and short term +25% at idle. we fixed the leak and now the long tern will not move despite the short term is now at -25% and we no longer have any fault codes we do not have the radio code and are reluctant to disconnect the battery as we have read that you can reset the PCM by touching the disconnected battery ground to the connected live terminal on the battery . ( I'm not confident in doing this ) i have also disconected the ECM for 20 mins so can any one come up with say some thing like a KAM fuse that i could use . my scan tools do not have the option to clear the fuel trims . thank you |
